Purpose made practical

Leadership formation

Meet EU decision-makers and practitioners, deepen your understanding of European affairs, and develop the habits of reflective leadership.

02

Community and service

Live in an intercultural community and volunteer regularly alongside people experiencing exclusion and vulnerability in Brussels.

03

Discernment and accompaniment

Receive one-to-one spiritual coaching and professional mentoring while reflecting on vocation, responsibility and the common good.

A Jesuit vision for leadership in Europe

ELP grows from the Jesuit tradition of forming leaders in service of society, rooted in discernment and a commitment to the common good.

Conceived as a contribution to Europe’s spiritual, social and political life, the initiative was associated with Fr. John Dardis SJ and Cardinal Reinhard Marx. In 2017, the vision was entrusted to Fr. Peter Rožič SJ at the Jesuit European Social Centre, with Botond Feledy serving as the first ELP Manager.

The programme brings together leadership formation, European affairs, community life, service, spiritual coaching and professional mentoring.
